Ning Fei is a renowned arbitrator and Managing Partner at Hui Zhong Law Firm, a boutique dispute resolution law firm based in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. With over 20 years of legal experience, he has been ranked as a Band 1 lawyer in arbitration and general dispute resolution in China by Chambers & Partners Asia Pacific since 2006.
Mr. Fei has heard and arbitrated many cases before prestigious Chinese and international arbitration institutions, including CIETAC, SCIA, ICC Court, HKIAC, SIAC, and SAC, among others. He has represented Chinese and foreign clients in hundreds of commercial arbitration and litigation cases before domestic and overseas arbitral tribunals and PRC courts. Mr. Fei has practical experience in investment arbitration disputes in China.
In addition to his work as an arbitrator and lawyer, Mr. Fei is also a frequent speaker at international arbitration-related seminars and conferences held at home and abroad. He is a member of the SCIA Advisory Committee, KCAB International Arbitration Committee, and Vice-Chair of the IPBA Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Committee. He was announced as Vice-Chair of ICC China in 2022 and joined the DIAC Arbitration Court in 2023. In 2023, Mr. Fei was also elected as a member of the Governing Board Member of the ICCA. From 2013 to 2019, he served as a Council member of HKIAC, the first time the title was vested to individuals from mainland China.
