Prof. Julian Lew KC is a well-known name in the field of international arbitration, having practised as an academic, counsel and arbitrator. He is now a full-time arbitrator in international commercial and investment disputes at Twenty Essex. Before 2005, he was a partner and for some years the head of the international arbitration practice group at a leading international law firm.
Prof. Lew was the founder and has been the head of the School of International Arbitration, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London since its creation in 1985. He has written and lectured extensively on many different aspects of international arbitration.
