Jehad Kazim, DIAC Executive Director
Jehad is the first Executive Director of Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and the first Emirati woman to assume a leadership position in the largest arbitration centre in the Middle East. She also serves on DIAC’s Board of Directors and is the first Emirati woman on the Board. Drawing on a wealth of knowledge gained from over 22 years of experience in the legal and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) field, Jehad has played an instrumental role in building and executing DIAC’s forward thinking strategy. Under her proactive and dynamic leadership, the Centre strives to enhance the efficiency of its operations, optimize its performance and improve its ADR services through business excellence, stakeholder engagement and innovation. Prior to joining DIAC, Jehad was the Vice-President of the Legal Affairs Sector of Dubai Chambers where she oversaw the entire legal function of the Chambers and its international offices around the world. She played a key role in providing broad strategic guidance and legal support to the Dubai Chambers and its stakeholders on wide spectrum of matters including legislation, dispute resolution, corporate governance and policy advocacy in line with Dubai Chambers’ vision and strategic objectives.
Sarah Reynolds, Managing Partner at Goldman Ismail and former SVAMC CEO
As Managing Partner of Goldman Ismail, Sarah acts as an arbitrator and counsel representing technology and pharmaceutical companies before domestic and international arbitral bodies. Sarah is a former SVAMC CEO and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is named on the ICDR Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators, the British Virgin Islands Arbitration Center Panel of Arbitrators, and the Hong Kong Center for International Arbitration List of Arbitrators. Sarah is also cross-licensed in the United States (Illinois and California) and in England and Wales.
Saleh Alobeidli, Partner at Codegines and ICLO
Saleh Alobeidli is a UAE national with over 20 years of experience in the legal and tech space. Leveraging his experience as a qualified lawyer in working in Top regional Law Firms, he founded an innovative boutique Law Firm named ICLO and a LegalTech product named CASENGINE. He is also working with multiple tech startups in various industries.
Giorgio Sassine, Associate at Peeler & Garrett Los Angeles office
Giorgio Sassine is an associate with Musick Peeler’s Los Angeles office and is a member of the International Arbitration and Litigation and Construction Practice Groups. Mr. Sassine has extensive experience on international high-value, complex commercial, construction, and energy disputes, and has been recognized in the 2024 Super Lawyers Rising Stars – International; 2024 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America – Construction Law; and the 2023 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation. Licensed in both New York and California, Mr. Sassine has represented clients across the globe in U.S. federal and state court litigations and under various arbitral rules in venues including in Europe, the MENA-region, and the United States. Apart from his legal work, Mr. Sassine coaches the University of California – Los Angeles’s (“UCLA”) Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team and is a member of California Arbitration’s (“CalArb”), ICDR Y&I’s, and Stockholm University’s International Commercial Arbitration Law Alumni Association’s (“ICAL AA”) board of directors.
Jodie Reindorf, Senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer
Jodie’s practice centres on advising clients on complex, cross-border disputes. She has represented clients in construction and commercial arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA and DIAC Rules across a range of subject-matters, including infrastructure projects, premium retail, tourism and retail and IT systems. She has also advised and represented clients through successful mediation proceedings. As well as international arbitration, Jodie has experience acting as project counsel to clients on live construction projects with the aim of reaching early resolution of disputes. Jodie is admitted to practice in England & Wales and is a registered foreign practitioner in Dubai.
