Justice Shamlan Al Sawalehi has over 25 years of experience in international dispute resolution within common law, civil law, and Sharia legal systems. He has held various roles at the DIFC Courts and has experience as an arbitrator in MENA and Europe. He is a listed arbitrator with Kuwait and Oman Commercial Arbitration Centers and the Asian International Arbitration Centre. Justice Al Sawalehi holds an LL.M degree from Westminster University, a High Diploma in Advanced Legal and Judicial Studies from Dubai Judicial Institution, and an LL.B in Sharia and Law from UAE University.
